Technical Product Owner

Required skills we are looking for:

  • Previous working experience as a Product Owner for a minimum of 3 years
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • Outstanding communication skills in both spoken and written English

  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to details
  • Basic knowledge in technical skills: Java, Angular, and databases
  • Excellent product skills such as agile development practices, methodologies, and tools, product development

  • Relevant degrees such as bachelor’s or master’s degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Technical Science, Business/Information Systems
Product Owner duties and responsibilities:
  • Take the lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner
  • To organize daily, weekly meetings, and follow-ups depending on ongoing projects
  • Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
  • Define product vision, road – map and growth opportunities in collaboration with supervisors
  • Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value
  • Work closely with the Engineering team to obtain necessary technological input, to be further planned along and communicated about, primarily with internal stakeholders, but also with clients
  • Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Research and analyze the market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
  • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
  • Ability to write well-defined User Stories/Use Cases and acceptance criteria, as well as the necessary follow-up product documentation.
